One of These Days

One of these days…(In a place that looks exactly like where you are right now.  In a time not so far away. )

…After another child is murdered at school, we gathered and propelled by thoughts and prayers, but mostly by righteous anger, we took all the guns.  Half shat themselves and gave up the guns without issue and that was good.  The other half?  Both sides lost a lot of people, and that was surprising.  The idiots forgot that we have guns too—we just don’t think of them as props for prom pictures or Christmas cards.  So yeah, a lot more of you died than you figured.  Up yours.  

One of these days, after yet another woman is raped, and the system let her rapist off for any number of stupid, misogynistic reasons, we grabbed whatever was handy and stabbed, slammed, slashed, burned, punctured, ran over, disemboweled and defenestrated. Generations of violence against women nipped in the fucking bud. 

One of these days after another boy is murdered for knocking while black, we used all ya’ll’s confederate flags as Jesus diapers and then nailed you up on your own fucking crosses. Handy that you had so many of them around. 

One of these days after another black trans woman is murdered because you saw someone on Fox News say that all trans people should be eradicated, mothers across our fair and wondrous land went to Washington, DC and cleaned house.  Like John Wick fucking clean. Like John Wick 1 through 4 combined clean.
