I say the thing in the room.

It's usually why they hired me. Occasionally why they didn't.

Twenty-five years of brand and cultural strategy. I built and ran a forty-person planning department at GSD&M and sat on the executive team. I led a fifty-person strategy and content group at sparks & honey. I ran a global P&L at BrainJuicer/System1 and led a fourteen-person global qualitative team across Asia, Mexico, and the U.S.

Since 2015, DAME Collective: fractional C-suite strategy for fintech, gaming, CPG, and healthcare. Agency side, research side, client side. I have sat in all three chairs, which is mostly useful for knowing when someone is bluffing.

I Also Build

SheScan is a consumer app I shipped solo in three months that tells you which brands on the shelf are women-owned. The Women's Economy is the framework underneath it — an accounting correction, not a movement. WE Magazine is next.

None of it is a hobby. It is where I test the thesis on my own money before I bring it to yours. When I tell you the highest-spending customer in your category is invisible in your brief, I am not reading it off a trend report. I built a company on it.
